Charming hosts, cozy stay
Woke up to the comforting sounds of nature. The owner, Rick, was chatty and ensured I had everything I needed. Fresh milk was a lovely touch!
The decor felt a bit dated, and you could hear conversations from nearby rooms. A bit more attention to soundproofing would improve the experience.

The breakfast had a wide array of options, toast, cereals, and fruit. The location was unbeatable and lovely in a beautiful area and off the main road. Plus, the hotel was situated a 10-15 minute walking distance from an expansive public park.

Grayling House B&B offered a charming stay with a very accommodating host. Rick, the owner, ensured everything was perfect and even provided fresh milk for tea. The breakfast selection was quite good, although I felt there could have been more options available, especially for those with dietary restrictions. The room itself was well-furnished and comfortable. The decor felt somewhat outdated, and it would definitely benefit from a refresh. Noise can be a concern. I could hear conversations in nearby rooms. Not having an outside space to unwind was also a downside.

We enjoyed our visit, especially the nearby attractions, including the vibrant displays and arena shows at Old Sarum on Bank Holiday Monday. The kids had a blast, and the host was accommodating. The comfy room.
My wife says that the breakfast variety could be more appealing for families.

Family with children friendly
Rick was a lovely host who made sure my family had all the info we needed for our day trips and even when we overslept, he was kind enough to serve us breakfast anyway!
It wasn't exactly cheap, but for the experience we had, it felt acceptable.

Perfect spot for history lovers
The location is awesome, right by an ancient bridge! Rick's hospitality was great. He was super helpful. I enjoyed a lovely packed lunch from them during my day trip. On the downside, the rooms could be better soundproofed since I heard other guests quite easily.
